Who & where are we?

Who are we?

This project most likely has its origins in the time when Vincent Robles, founder and owner of L’AUBRAC, saw the neighbour's cows grazing, from the window of his bedroom in Mazamet (Tarn, Occitania, France).

Vincent is a veterinarian who, after a number of years working for and with cows (in more intensive models, in France first and in Catalonia later), has decided to raise his own and to realise this dream of  being a cattle farmer.

He has lived in Catalonia for more than 12 years, in the region of Osona, where Marta (and Lola!) support him in his project.

Finally, we cannot forget Toni who has been the catalyst and the mentor of this project.

Where are we?

Sant Bartomeu del Grau is a town in Lluçanès, in the Osona region, separated from the plain of Vic by a wall of cliffs east of the municipality.

The considerable altitude of the town (around 900metres) allows you to enjoy the breathtaking views of the plain of Vic, its surrounding mountains and much of the Eastern Pyrenees and the hills of Montserrat.

Els Solans is the farm where our cows graze, on the edge of the village, in an ecosystem of pre-mountainous meadows and forests perfectly adapted to the Aubrac breed.
